For her Spring Break this year, Emily came to visit us! Cora was super excited to see her Aunt and we proceeded to have fun and Emily also babysat for us a couple times.
One day during the visit, we went to the DC Zoo. Cora's favorite zoo attraction was the small mammal house. Specifically this guy whose name I can't remember. She told me she's wants one for her birthday.
There is a baby gorilla at the zoo who is super cute if you can see past all the bratty kids heads to check it out.
And a lazy orangutan who skillfully made a bed of straw and added a blanket for extra comfort.
Also on full exciting view were the lion, lionesses and like six lion cubs! They were so awesome!
My favorite, however, was the Alpaca. Most of the time I was calling it a Llama, but really it was an Alpaca.
On another day of Emily's visit, we went to the Newseum. It's expensive, even when you get the buy your tickets online discount, but it was really interesting! We got to see west and east sides of the Berlin Wall.

After the Newseum, we went walking about a bit and enjoyed some sticks in the grass.
