That's right, folks! Yesterday, March 1, 2009, it snowed like CRAZY here in Decatur, GA! Woo to tha hoooooo! It started off as a fairly warm Sunday morning, moved on to slushy rain, and by the time we drove from our house to Walgreens (which is maybe 1/4 mile from our house) it was snowing big fat flakes! And it snowed all day long!!
Andy's wish for snow is fulfilled!
Mmmmmmm snow....This was the dog's first experience with snow. Moose was pretty much unfazed at the beginning. Lucy, on the other hand, didn't know what to think. Here, here dandruff looks to be out of control..

It was a winter wonderland! And seriously, y'all, it snowed all day long. It stopped sometime in the evening and then turned to ice, resulting in schools and businesses being closed all over the place.

Finally, we went for a walk. The snow was pretty thick at this point.
Moose was more interested in the snow once it got deeper. And Lucy loved running through it! I wish we could have been somewhere to let them off leash. I bet Piedmont Park was nuts at the dog park!

To finish off the beautiful snow day, we had an equally beautiful sunset! Even our neighbor's ugly yard was enhanced by the snow!! AND we only had one gigantic branch fall in the front yard from the dead oak and it didn't hit anything! The day was a success!
