After we returned from Paris, Jim went back to work and Claire took Andy and me on a nice long walk to Regent's Park. Our journey began on Regent's Canal where people have houseboats and they are way cool.
Along with way cool houseboats, we saw way cute coots and coot babies!!! They were obviously used to people feeding them. Coots!!
We arrived at Regent's Park and it was beautiful! There are lots of parts that are only mowed at certain times of the year for the birds, butterflies, wildlife, etc. Again, BREC could take some lessons.

That part was all good and fine, but the best was yet to come! PLANTS! FLOWERS! LOTS AND LOTS OF FLOWERS!!! I was in heaven, and if it hadn't started raining, Claire and Andy would have had to drag me away. Everything was in full bloom, and it was wonderful....feast your eyes!!

And the roses!! THE ROSES!!! Y'all...they were amazing, and I'm not a huge rose fan.
Alas, my dreams of staying at Regent's Park for the remainder of the day and using up all the remaining memory on my camera taking pictures of plants were thwarted by the rain. All was not lost, though! We got to see Sherlock Holmes' museum and address! And then, we got to eat ice cream! 
The Baker Street tube stop is in Sherlock Holmes' area, so it's got a Sherlock Holmes theme. Fun times!!
